Yeah Yeah Yeah...

Wed Sep 23, 2009, 3:47 AM
... another GenCon journal. But what can I say? This weekend was awesome and deserves to be shared :D

Friday - good and bad. Good I got all my shopping done XD, bad I spent all my monies ;(
I also owned the DDR machine in my 5 inch stilletos and corset. TAKE THAT MACHINE!!! not to mention the people who said it couldn't be done :D

Saturday - Alice cosplay group. Queen of Hearts was fabulous! My Alice looked gorgeous (as always) and we had a ball. There was even a white rabbit (Sabina i think???) who looked amazing.I was kinda annoyed with my collar - it kept falling down, but I should be able to remedy that by Supanova 2010.

Sunday - Princess Tutu group. I stole Louisa's Kraehe costume so that Esther could wear her Tutu costume. And somehow Louisa and I managed to loose the hair piece/feather for the wig. But I had my pointe shoes which kinda makes up for it. (I was talking to someone who said when they cosplayed tutu they would wear their pointe shoes as well - You have no idea how excited I am to see that! It will look amazing!!!). AND I found Sailor Moon Trading Cards XO I nearly died, which reminds me - the stall selling them said they might be able to get me the manga as well! WHOOT!!

IN SHORT this weekend was brilliant fun and thank you to everyone who was so encouraging and supportive and just plain nice! I can't wait to see you all again :D

I now get to start on next years cosplays. YAY! Sailor Star Healer from Sailor Moon Sailor Starlights and Queen of Hearts modifications. I also want to do a steampunk something. I'm not quite sure what yet, but I shall figure it out by next year :D

Tick: Death. The eternal blink. The capricious dance of Now Ya Stop Movin' Forever. Well contrary to popular belief, death isn't just for dead people. It can happen to anyone.
